Wrapology has won many of its biggest customers by presenting the latest environmentally responsible materials.
Our Products Our two core lines include 100% recycled Kraft paper which is produced using green energy (E.g; the mill is powered by water, wind and sun). There are no added chlorines and bleaches and we even have the Blue Angel certification to prove it. Our inks are water based and glues bio-degradable.
Terraskin®: is our Tree-free paper which provides the luxury of a laminated paper and the benefit of environmentally friendly paper. Containing over 75% calcium carbonate there are no trees used in this material. This gives the material a longer life cycle (e.g; its not down cycled in the same way paper is) and it requires no waters or bleaches in the production. To find out more please contact your representative who will gladly send out samples.
Our Commitment We always inform and encourage our factories and customers to use the most efficient use of material planning in order to use fewer natural resources and reduce unnecessary wastage of resources. We comply with the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive (2004) that tackles the environmental impact of packaging by setting targets, reviewed every five years, for the recycling and recovery of packaging waste. To find out more about this Directive, click here.
Our production contains fewer toxic materials; for spot colour printing (not metallic) our inks are water based, for CMYK printing, inks are vegetable based. The glues we use are water based and we our default box boards are 100% post consumer waste (unless otherwise requested).
By using tree-free and naturally whitened paper such as TerraSkin®:, our production consumes less energy and water in production. We produce where the substrates are made to avoid additional cargo shipments of raw materials.
European papers are all FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified, and you can vist their website by clicking here.
We pack your product in outer cartons that can be re-used for courier distribution. All of our products can be recycled or re-used on disposal (dependant on local council collecting schemes). If you are unsure whether local councils will recycle, for the price of a postage stamp, we offer a free recycle scheme on all packaging that we produce for your company. Simply download your return label here and we will take care of the recycling for you.
