Information about our Printed Tissue Paper

A sheet of printed or customized tissue paper is the most economical way to create a branded gift packaging experience. For as little as £0.04 per single sheet of printed tissue paper you can protect your product, reinforce your brand and create a gift packaging experience for the recipient.

No other form of packaging is as cost effective as this.

So once you have decided that you want to purchase printed tissue paper, here is what you need to do:

1. Get a price
E-mail or phone us with your requirements. We can usually quote a price over the phone. We will also make a note of your specifications and make suggestions.

2. Sample pack
Based on our suggestions, we normally send out a sample pack. A sample pack can include a range of different designs that we have printed. However, we can also include heavier weights of papers. The standard weight of printed tissue paper is 17gsm but we also have 20gsm, 24gsm, 30gsm, 34gsm, 40gsm etc.

3. Artwork
Once the price and final paper weight has been agreed we will produce an on-screen proof for you to approve. This will show you what your design looks like on a single sheet. You can make as many changes as you want at this point.

4. Samples
For certain orders, we will supply a printed sample for you to approve. This will show you the final layout, dimensions and scale of what the design looks like.

5. Production
Once the artwork and samples are approved; the paper goes into production and the printed process starts. We usually deliver within 35 days of placement of order.

Terminology

Acid Free
Our papers are acid free which means that you should be able to use them safely with jewellery without risk of tarnishing.

Non-Toxic
There are no toxics involved in the production of our printed tissue papers. Inks are water based and the paper is acid-free.

Bleed Resistant
The ink that we use is bleed resistant which means the colour will not rub off. Very important to know when wrapping clothes or delicate items.

FSC
The paper that we print onto comes from FSC approved sources. For every tree cut down, another one is replanted.

Ream
A ream refers to the way we pack the paper. We bundle 500 sheets into a “ream” and then we wrap it in a Kraft paper and label it with your product codes or information.
