When making packaging on a mass scale, it is important to maintain the same quality you would expect as if you were producing products on a small scale. At Wrapology, we make sure to balance quality with our price and service in order to deliver our clients the best possible packaging. Specialising in producing paper packaging for various industries, including beauty, fragrance, fashion and jewellery, today we will give further details about our factory, the people who work there, and the credentials and principles that make us stand out as packaging manufacturers.
As packaging products manufacturers, we produce around 70% of our products from our factory in Shenzhen, China. This helps us to maintain the consistent quality that our clients continually come back for. The leftover 30% of production is outsourced to local factories due to the necessity of a specific set of skills or machinery. Within the factory, the work consists of a raw materials and finished goods zone, print and production, and hand assembly and packing. The outsourced functions involve hand stitching, flexo and litho printing, injection moulding, vac forming and lacquering.
Our factory is of a medium size, employing approximately 80 to 100 workers. Major brands that work with us will conduct independent audits in the factory in order to assure they are happy with the management systems and working conditions. The management team is led by our co-founder, Tom Bosanquet, who brings over 12 years of experience from working within the luxury packaging industry. His physical presence on the factory floor reduces the risk of any problems that may be associated with manufacturing in China.
Whether you’re looking for a printed carrier bag manufacturer or a wood or plastic box manufacturer, at Wrapology we have the credentials that ensure you can trust us. Our certifications include FSC, ISO14001 and ISO9001. We have a great range of machinery and equipment for jobs such as offset printing, foil/hot stamp printing, embossing/debossing, lamination, UV printing, screen printing, die cutting and semi-automatic box production.
Our business ethics are very important to us, and we are able to provide independent reports on this as well as labour standards, health and safety standards and the environment. We are committed to following the ET1 base code, which guarantees that there is no forced labour, no child labour, working hours are not excessive and people are paid the local living wage. Employees have the right to collective bargaining, and regular employment is provided. It also ensures that no discrimination is practiced and there is no harsh of inhumane treatment. We want our factories to be positive working environments and aim to go above and beyond these basic requirements.
